Grade IX - English (EN901)

The Grade IX English syllabus is organised into eight units. Each unit develops all four language skills along with grammar and literary appreciation, preparing learners for a 3-hour examination of 100 marks.

Time Allowed: 3 HoursTotal Marks: 100

All units in this course contain activities across: Listening skills, Speaking skills, Reading skills, Writing skills, and Language structure & conventions, including literary devices.

Note: Separate marks are allotted for each unit.

  • Read and understand the Diary as a literary genre
