Physical EducationSyllabus Of Grade XII - PE1203 / PPE1203 The Grade XII Physical Education syllabus is divided into two parts - Part A: Theory (PE1203) and Part B: Practical (PPE1203) . Part A consists of nine theory units , while Part B covers fitness testing, skills, yoga, viva and record work . Together they form a 3-hour examination of 100 marks .
Overall focus: physical fitness and wellness, planning and managing sports, positive sports environment, posture and yoga, sports nutrition, training methods, psychological aspects, understanding of a chosen game / sport, and structured practical work.
Theory: 70 Marks Practical: 30 Marks Both Theory and Practical are compulsory.
Instructions: The theory component is organised into nine units , and the practical component into five parts . Separate marks are indicated for each unit / part in the summary tables below. All candidates must complete both Theory and Practical .
