The Grade XI Physical Education syllabus is divided into two parts - Part A (Theory) and Part B (Practical). Each unit carries separate marks, and together they form a 3-hour examination of 100 marks.

Total Marks: 100Time: 3 HoursAll theory and practical units are compulsory.

Instructions: This syllabus is divided into two parts - Part A: Theory and Part B: Practical. Separate marks are given with each unit as shown in the table below.

Overall focus: building an understanding of health, fitness, sports science, yoga, psychology, training and hands-on performance in athletics and games.

  • Internal assessment in Grade XI Physical Education (Practical) carries 30 marks and includes the following components:
  • 1. Physical Fitness (05 Marks).
  • 2. Athletics - Any two events (Sprints and Jumps) (05 Marks).
  • 3. Health and Fitness Activities - Medicine Ball / Thera Tube / Pilates / Rope Skipping (any one) (05 Marks).
  • 4. Skill of any one Individual Game of choice (05 Marks).
  • 5. Viva (05 Marks).
  • 6. Record File (05 Marks).
